This Is a Tribute to another great Rock Band Guns 'N' Roses Who are FANTASTIC!
Guns N' Roses, It doesn't matter what generation or years of the band you prefer, or maybe even all of them, this fanlisting (A place for all fans of a particular person to come together and talk to other people from all around the world who are fans of that subject) is for the band and their music in general, not specifically for the original members, the current lineup, or the in betweens.
The founder members of the most controversial heavy rock band of the late 80s included Axl Rose (an anagram of Oral Sex) (b. William Bailey, 6 February 1962, Lafayette, Indiana, USA) and Izzy Stradlin (b. Jeffrey Isbell, 8 April 1962, Lafayette, Indiana, USA). Vocalist Rose, who had first sung at the age of five in a church choir, met guitarist Stradlin in Los Angeles in 1984. He changed his name to Rose at the age of 17 when he discovered who his real father was, the Axl prefix coming from a band with whom he had rehearsed in Indiana.

He was born on February 6th 1962 as William Bailey. Axl is the oldest of three. He has a half brother and sister, both fathered by his mother's second husband. His brother worked with the original line up of Guns n' Roses in a support capacity.
During his troubled teen years, Axl discovered that Bailey was not his father and that his real father's last name was Rose, which is why he changed his name from Bailey (the current family name) to Rose. His real father was a trouble making sort, drinking and not living up to the responsiblities of either fatherhood or being a husband. When Axl was still a baby, he drifted off somewhere and never returned to his family. (I do believe that Axl has located his father as an adult, but I don't believe they have a relationship, so to speak.)
Axl always felt like he "didn't fit in anywhere" as a teen which was one of the driving forces behind the decision to move west and follow his best friend Izzy to CA to 'try his luck".
